My faves!

I finally got a chance to sort all my swaps and really look at them all.  And all I can say is WOW!! There are some really talented demonstrators out there.  I am so lucky to have spent last week with them learning from them.  Here are some of my favorites:

There were a lot of Valentines passed around last week. In fact 2 of my swaps were Valentines. This one from Maureen Rauchfuss is by far my favorite.  I love the non traditional colors and the simplicity of the design.  I'm sure I'll be casing this one soon!

This thank you card uses the new Tea Shoppe stamp set from the Occasions Mini.  I so wish the demonstrator had put his/her name on the back so that I could give credit.  I love that emboss resist technique.  It is really very simple to do.  I don't do it often enough.

This is a great card from Sandy Bate in Idaho.  She used some of her FREE SaleABration products. What a great use of scraps, too! The Outlined Occasions stamp set is so versatile, you can easily make this any kind of card you need.  And I can't say enough about this gorgeous Everyday Elegance Designer Series Paper! I love, love, LOVE it!

I can not get over this card from Tina Moore.  Isn't it beautiful?!?!  My style is usually very clean and simple.  This textured, layered style is very hard for me to create.  So naturally, I get very excited about swaps like this to show all of you. It is just amazing!  She used the Kindness Matters stamp set which is in the regular Idea Book and Catalog as well as the SaleABration catalog.  She used that great Hello Doily background stamp; and I think my favorite part is how she made the look of a ruffle with the Stripes Emboss Folder.  Genius!

Sharon Denison's swap is full of great ideas.  She used the Everyday Elegance Designer Series Paper I adore, the new Blossom punch from the Occasions Mini catalog, and the Full of Life stamp set.  It's hard to see in the picture but she even added a little shimmer to the flower with a little Smooch Spritz. Although this card has a simple, uncluttered layout, it is elegant and feminine.

Again, I find myself loving a card with out contact information.  I had not ordered the Sweet Cake stamp set, but every sample I saw last week I loved.  I think I'll have to add it to my short list of things I can't live without.  It is just so cute! This card also shows off the Sweet Shop Specialty Designer Series Paper.  (Another must have for me!) The ribbons and brads can both be found in our Idea Book and Catalog.

I wish I could post all of my favorites from this year's Leadership swap.  I had so much fun looking through them yesterday.  If you'd like to see them all come on over to the Rubber Room sometime and see my display.  Tomorrow I will be posting a finished class schedule for the next few months.  I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Until tomorrow...

Amy
