I originally began my paper crafting as a scrapbooker.  I love going through old pictures and remembering all the fun times I've had with family and friends.  Using stamps in scrapbooking is great because you can customize your background to exactly the style and color you want.  Not to mention how very cost effective stamping is!

This was a make and take from Leadership last month in San Antonio.  It started out as an 8x8 page.  Here is the original page:
I used the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit and Brights Designer Buttons to make a pretty garden to frame the photo.  I love all the flower options in this kit.  You can layer and layer to customize your flower to be as elaborate as you want it.  For the background I used the gorgeous Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and then stamped a flower from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set in Baja Breeze ink onto Baja Breeze card stock.

Of course, I don't really scrapbook in 8x8 pages so I had to build it up to a 12x12 to fit into my album.  Here's the finished product:
I think it turned out way cute.  I just added the Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive card stock with a few of the Mixed Bunch flowers stamped all over.

Remember, you can order your own supplies to make this very same project any time at www.funstampinwithamy.stampinup.net.  Have fun!

Sale-A-Bration Kickoff

The Sale-A-Bration kickoff this year was so much fun! And the projects were outstanding!

This was my favorite.  We made a mini album from envelopes.  Seriously! ENVELOPES! Who comes up with this stuff?!?!

I love these new framelits. They are so much fun to use!  I used 2 different sizes to make this perfect frame.  Then popped it up with dimentionals.  We also used the Kindness Matters set, that you can get for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, and the new Blossom punch from the Occasions Mini catalog.
How great is this little photo holder? We made them using the Decor Elements Blocks.

What a clever idea using the kraft box as a note holder.  I love the idea of just having several greetings ready to add to a card when I need it.  So cool.

Email me for more information on how to make these awesome projects for yourself.
