I originally began my paper crafting as a scrapbooker.  I love going through old pictures and remembering all the fun times I've had with family and friends.  Using stamps in scrapbooking is great because you can customize your background to exactly the style and color you want.  Not to mention how very cost effective stamping is!

This was a make and take from Leadership last month in San Antonio.  It started out as an 8x8 page.  Here is the original page:
I used the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit and Brights Designer Buttons to make a pretty garden to frame the photo.  I love all the flower options in this kit.  You can layer and layer to customize your flower to be as elaborate as you want it.  For the background I used the gorgeous Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and then stamped a flower from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set in Baja Breeze ink onto Baja Breeze card stock.

Of course, I don't really scrapbook in 8x8 pages so I had to build it up to a 12x12 to fit into my album.  Here's the finished product:
I think it turned out way cute.  I just added the Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive card stock with a few of the Mixed Bunch flowers stamped all over.

Remember, you can order your own supplies to make this very same project any time at www.funstampinwithamy.stampinup.net.  Have fun!

Until tomorrow...
Amy
